Individual house project in Gassin

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Individual house project in Gassin[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]CRISTAL A.B. authors this beautiful project on a terrain that overlooks the Mediterranean sea. The house is vast. To avoid becoming too massive, the habitation is split into 3 parts, while the garage and the pool-house are separated.

The habitable part is divided into 3 non-aligned volumes of different heights. The first-floor lateral volumes embed the ground floor living room at the center, widely opened by a south-oriented glass wall. Projecting at the south, the living room allows to enjoy the sunshine and luminosity. Meanwhile, on the north side, it retreats behind a portico at the entrance of the house. The significant eaves and the first-floor terrace create a shadow projected in the facade and the ground, which makes the summer more comfortable. The large glass surfaces contribute to natural lighting inside of the house and the wintry comfort.

The garage is separated from the habitable part, which makes it closer to the site entrance and diminished the surface of the circulatory lane.

The style is contemporary but stays close to the typical French southern style.

CRISTAL A.B.’s mission does not go beyond the building permit obtention, since the site is quite remote.

Work in progress.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Construction of an individual house in Fraisses

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Construction of an individual house in Fraisses[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The 800m² site is the last lot of a Fraisses housing estate. The sloped terrain is embedded between the two existing houses.

In order to avoid the roof of the house below the terrain and to enjoy the clear view on the Le Corbusier housing unit in Firminy, architect CRISTAL A.B. conceived a house with a ground floor, a first floor and a south-oriented terrace. The volume is compact but not intimidating. The imbrication between the habitable part and the garage canopy livens up the street facade.

In the beginning, the levelling lot took more time than expected because the client wanted to add more services in order to get a flat garden, without a retaining wall. CRISTAL A.B. rigorously managed this delay. Today, the enclosure is done. The lining and partitions are set, along with the piping and electricity. The floor heating and the fluid screed are settled. The second works will progress as planned.

The house will be delivered before the end of 2018.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]

Arrangement of a retail area in a mall in La Fouillouse

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Arrangement of a retail area in a mall in La Fouillouse[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]The owner of a decoration and domestic products store moved from Firminy to the ARCHE mall in La Fouillouse, to take advantage of its dynamism.

The store is named “HOZO”. It is layed out in a 450m² volume, two levels under ground floor, opened on a vast parking space. Arranging a retail area in a first-category mall in such a short imposed period is a real struggle: one has to face many mishaps, to respect the fixed budget and the rigorous security and accessibility norms…

Juggling with all the additional works on top of the planned ones, CRISTAL A.B. did not count the time spent on these works… The delivery with the city hall, the Fire and Rescue Service (SDIS), the property management company and all the contributors took place on the planned date. A challenge successfully met!

The atmosphere inside the store is welcoming and warm. The dark floors and ceiling contrast with the white display stands. The colorful decoration objects are thus greatly visible and enhanced.

These works were delivered in September 2017.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Renovation of an apartment in Saint-Etienne

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Renovation of an apartment in Saint-Etienne[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]Upon purchasing this apartment, the young couple not only wanted to refresh the interior looks, but also extend the bathroom and rearrange the dark hall.

After assessing the state of the place, architect agency CRISTAL A.B. suggested to tear down the dividing wall between the hall and the living room, to recover the corridor between the former bathroom and the cloakroom, and to set up a stretch ceiling covering the living room, the dining room and the entry hall. The cloakroom was turned around, thus becoming more accessible. The kitchen was renovated almost at the end of the works, despite the contracting authority not having planned it.

After the works, the apartment is bright and appears wider.

These works were delivered in May 2017.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

Extension of an individual house in Saint-Just-Saint-Rambert

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=”.vc_custom_1536765601259{padding-top: 10px !important;padding-bottom: 10px !important;padding-left: 20px !important;background-color: #800000 !important;}”]Extension of an individual house in Saint-Just-Saint-Rambert[/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]As the parents left for a new house and the child’s family arrived, the existing 1980s house does not match the needs and lifestyle of the young family anymore.
An extension of the living room and a rehabilitation of the existing house’s interior are planned.
The extension is a vast south-oriented volume that includes the living room, the dining room and the open-plan kitchen. A mezzanine opens onto this double-height volume. The passage between what already exists and the extension is fluid, whether it is at the ground floor or at the first floor. Architect CRISTAL A.B. conceived the entry hall to form a junction between the two constructions, which belong to different times.
The result is a pleasant place to live and forms a coherent whole by a homogeneous treatment of the facade coating.
These works were delivered in July 2017.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
